LIFE FITNESS IC2 INDOOR CYCLE DESCRIPTION Serious road bikes often refer to the Q factor which is the width of the crankset assembly and stemming from that, the lateral distance between your feet when pedalling. The recommended Q factor is between 150-170mm and the Life Fitness IC2 IndoorCycle features a parallel frame with a 173mm Q factor resulting in a real road bike feel. Sweat can be a real problem for fitness equipment but with its frame shrouds and guards, aluminium sliders and pin-to-lock posts this can reduce corrosion and significantly lengthen the life of the bike. High-grade aluminium seat and handlebar posts reduce weight, making user adjustment easier. The 15kg perimeter weighted flywheel and Poly-V-Belt Drivetrain with its 1:3 Gear Ration transmits power to the wheels much more effectively than a chain drive resulting in the rider working more efficiently. The Poly-V- Belt is also quieter, stretches less, requires less maintenance, improves pedalling technique and safer for new riders. Dual-sided pedals enable the rider to use either cycling shoes with SPD cleats which give a more connected and road bike feel or normal trainers. Horizontal and vertical saddle adjustments ensure a great fit for most riders. The ANT-Console enables the user to gain more from their workout displaying cadence, heart rate and calorie expenditure plus additional valuable feedback. A push emergency button is situated in front of the multigrip handlebars for safety.
